Day 01:
Windhoek or Swakopmund - Hobatere Lodge
(530km and/or 480km)
Travel on a tar road from WHK/SWK via Otjiwarongo and Outjo
to Kamanjab.
From there gravel roads lead to the Hobatere Lodge, at the
west border of the Etosha
National Park. Overnight in the Hobatere Lodge
Day 02:
Hobatere - Ombonde (70km)
Travel overland to Ombonde.
Overnight in tents in the dry Ombonde river bed.
Day 03:
Ombonde - Springbok River (270km)
Travel up the dry Hoanib river bed through the Khowarib Canyon.
A good gravel road takes you past Palmwag toward the coast.
Traveling further on rocky tracks to the dry Springbok River.
Overnight in tents at the Springbok River.
Day 04:
Springbok River - Huab (60km)
Travel through untouched Damaraland.
Overnight in tents at the dry Huab River.
Day 05:
Game spotting in the Huab area
Sight seeing drives with game spotting in and around the dry
Huab river bed.
Overnight in tents at the dry Huab River.
Day 06:
Huab - Zebra Canyon (60km)
Travel past breathtaking landscapes via Gai Ais to the Zebra
Canyon.
Overnight in tents in the Zebra Canyon.
Day 07:
Zebra Canyon - Numasschlucht (80km)
Travel through three dry river beds to the Brandberg and to
the Numas canyon.
Overnight in tents in the Numas canyon.
Day 08:
Numas canyon - Windhoek/Swakopmund
(360km - 250km)
Travel back to Windhoek or Swakopmund.
End of the safari.
